Techniques Note: A massage can consist of one or more of the techniques or types of massages listed below. You may select the type or types yourself or rely on my judgment based upon "problem areas" you may tell me about or by using both methods.

A thorough massage which releases muscle tension by using deep and strong touch. |

Deep Tissue |
Consists of using more intense pressure to release toxins from any problem areas designated by the client. |

Swedish |
This the normal “old fashion” type of massage used for warming the muscle tissues and making them more flexible. |
||
|
Hydrotherapy |
Hydrotherapy is probably the oldest form of medical treatment. It involves the use of water for soothing pains and treating diseases. Warm oils, ice packs, and other warn and cold devices are applied to the affected area. |
||
|
Hot Stone |
Encompasses the use of river rocks, which have been warmed with water and essential oils (peppermint, eucalyptus, winter green and lavender). This helps to get a more effective tissue balance and achieves a deeper relaxation. |
||
|
Raindrop |
Combination of essential oils (peppermint, eucalyptus, winter green and lavender) and use of a warm towel, concentrating on the spinal area. This assists in the reduction of bacteria found on the skin. |

|
CranioSacral |
CranioSacral therapy is increasing used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and it is effective for a wide range of medical problems including: 1. Migraine Headaches, 2. Scoliosis, and 3. Chronic Fatigue. |

|
Reflexology |
This technique is used to adjust the body's tone or overall tension level. It is the application of pressure, stretching and movement to the feet and hands to effect corresponding parts of the body. |

Shiatsu |
A Japanese technique which concentrates on healing through touch and allowing energy to flow through the channels (meridians) of the body, which corresponds with the relationship between a few organs of the body. |

Foot Massage |
Massages the feet and ankle areas to relieve stress and reduce aches. |
||
|
Aromatherapy |
The relief of pain, care for the skin, alleviation of tension and fatigue and invigoration of the entire body through the use of essential oils that are used during the massage. |

Reiki |
Another Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit. |
